Romans 10:9 tells us
that there are only two things needed to go to heaven and be with God.

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and
believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be
saved." (Romans 10:9)
The world we live in can be a scary place,
but Romans 8:28 tells us that God is in
control and reminds us that God has a
plan to protect us and give our hearts peace. The plan is to have His son Jesus
Christ pay the price for our mistakes, even though He did nothing wrong,
so that we can have a perfect life in heaven, even though we don't
deserve it.

He offers this because of His great love
for you.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only
son, so that whoever believes in Him will not die, but have eternal
life. (John 3:16)
Saving faith is trusting in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation.
'For it is by grace you have been
saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of
God-- not by works, so that no one can boast.'
(Ephesians 2:8,9)
Many people try to 'earn God's
love' through doing good things and end up frustrated, bitter or
judgmental. Then there are people who believe 'since I'm saved by
faith, I can do whatever I want.'
The truth is both are
wrong!
We are called to love one another.
We obey god out of thankfulness for all that He's done. We are
not saved by good works, but IF we are saved, then we will have good
works.
Jesus said 'Every
tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom
of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.'
(Matthew 7:19-21)
If you don't have a time in your life when
you remember asking Jesus to come into your heart, to forgive you of
your sins and changed the direction you were heading in your life, today
is the day of salvation! It's not a coincidence that you're hear
reading this information.
'Today,
if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the
rebellion.' (Hebrews 3:15)
